Coronation Street airs big scenes for several characters next week, as some key storylines unfold on the ITV soap.
Ryan Connor struggles with his health in the fallout to his harrowing acid attack, and while he is out of hospital he certainly isn't out of danger.
Elsewhere, Sarah Platt and Damon Hay reignite their affair but it could be about to spark explosive scenes as three characters are close to the truth.
Also next week, viewers will see the exit of a major character who departs the Cobbles after getting some huge news.
While it's thought the exit is temporary, there will be an emotional goodbye for the resident, as she's waved off. Here's the biggest moments of the week ahead on the ITV soap...
Corrie exit
Coronation Street will air the exit of a major character next week on the ITV soap, as they are given a huge opportunity.
Fiz Brown is set to depart the cobbles in upcoming scenes, new spoilers reveal, as she heads to Norwich for a new job.
It appears it isn't a permanent exit for the character, who first joined the show in 2001 and has remained on the soap for 22 years.
Fiz actress Jennie McAlpine recently confirmed she was pregnant with her third child, and she told Loose Women she was due around Easter time.
So it seems the actress is now on maternity leave, and that her departure is to write her character out for this time.
Fiz will depart Weatherfield for a period of time, while actress Jennie remains away from filming - but it's not known when the character will be back.
Ryan deteriorates
Coronation Street 's Ryan Connor will be in desperate need of medical attention next week, as he begins to feel unwell.
The character was recently the victim of a harrowing acid attack, which left him with serious burns on his face and body.
After undergoing two or more skin grafts, Ryan was allowed to leave the hospital and he has been staying with his aunt Carla Connor ever since.
But at a time where he feels isolated, Ryan has grown close to a newcomer called Crystal - or so he thinks.
Crystal actually cruelly rejected him behind his back, leading to Daisy Midgeley using a second phone to pretend to be her.
Wanting to keep Ryan's hopes up, about a gig in the summer and a possible romance, Daisy has been messaging him for weeks.
But next week this could lead to serious danger for Ryan, as he reaches out to her and no one else at a time where his life could be on the line.
Ryan begins to feel unwell and experiences sickness, while Carla is not at the flat at the time.
Feeling increasingly unwell, Ryan begins to be sick and eventually tries to contact Crystal to alert her about his condition - and soon he falls unconscious.
Damon and Sarah caught?
Coronation Street could air the moment Sarah Platt and Damon Hay's fling is rumbled next week on the ITV soap.
The pair get steamy again, but this time they make a big mistake that could see them caught out.
Sarah's husband and three other characters could walk in on them, ahead of "explosive" scenes to air this year as part of the storyline.
The pair slept together recently before Sarah told him they had to stay apart, as she wanted to remain in her marriage to Adam Barlow.
Next week though it's clear things are not over, as they are once again drawn to each other in steamy scenes.
This time, the pair give into passion at The Bistro where Damon works with Nick Tilsley, Sarah's brother, and his partner Leanne Battersby.
When Sarah goes to see Damon in the office, they're soon caught up in the moment and begin to kiss.
When Adam and Dee-Dee inform Nick and Leanne the place is locked up they are confused, and head to the venue.
Sarah and Damon freeze in horror as Adam and co make their way towards the office, but will they be caught out?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
