Coronation Street’s Fiz Stape is heading down the aisle next week on the ITV soap as she looks for a fresh start with Phill Whittaker.
However, in the run up to her wedding day, Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is left seeking out her former flame Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) to make a surprise confession.
Fiz and her new fella had a wobble earlier this year after it emerged he was researching John Stape, her serial killer former husband, for a book – after fans had speculated he was too good to be true.
However, the pair reconciled after Phill (Jamie Kenna) confessed his feelings and popped the question to Fiz, with the big day now fast approaching.
Their loved ones are eager to see them exchange vows but Fiz is plagued with feelings she has to be honest with Tyrone.
Corrie fans will see the fan favourite former couple share an emotional moment in scenes on the ITV soap next week, when Fiz calls the garage and tells Tyrone she still loves him.
While this may be the case, Fiz makes it clear that she can no longer trust Tyrone, which allows her to feel secure in her decision to marry Phill.
But Fiz doesn't just have to deal with her former flame next week as she also encounters Phill's ex-wife Camilla in the cobbles.
Phill is baffled by her arrival but assures Fiz he loves her and can't wait to marry her.
Meanwhile, Tyrone does acknowledge his own feelings for Fiz and decides he needs to tell her how he feels before it's too late.
This comes after Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine said fans may finally get a reunion between Fiz and Tyrone.
“It would be nice for her to have a white wedding,” Jennie, 38, sad, before adding Fiz “would go back in a heartbeat” to Tyrone if she can forgive his affair with Alina Pop.
Tyrone Dobbs has been struggling with ex Fiz Stape's new relationship with Phill, after he initially split from Fiz when he fell for Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) and the pair decided to give it a go.
After a while, Alina decided to leave the Cobbles for good - but there has been hints dropped that she could have been pregnant with Tyrone's baby when she decided to head back to her native Romania.
Speaking about the possibility of his co-star returning one day, actor Alan said: "Well, that's obviously a very clever thing that the writers did there, sending Alina off in that way, and of course it leads into a future storyline. Right now, I think Tyrone's thoughts are just all about Fiz.
"Regardless of what comes knocking on his doorstep, it's all about Fiz."
