Coronation Street lothario Adam Barlow recently split from his wife Sarah, and he certainly doesn't let the grass grow.
The suave solicitor, whose relationship with Sarah ended because he suspected she still had feelings for Gary Windass, makes a move on Alina Pop on next week's Corrie.
At first she gives him short shrift but Adam isn't taking no for an answer when the flirt doesn't work.
When Sarah heads to Speed Daal with her colleagues for a team-building evening for the Underworld factory, she's not impressed when her dashing ex tries to chat up telesales agent Alina, who previously dated Seb Franklin.
With the team-building evening over, Adam wonders if Alina would like to go out sometime.
Sarah is then furious when she catches Adam chatting up Alina outside the factory and launches a tirade of abuse at him.
As Underworld boss Carla approaches with a new client, she finds Sarah screeching at Adam.
Carla warns Alina to steer clear of Adam as he’s only using her to get at Sarah. But Adam suggests they go out for dinner.
Elsewhere there's an awkward moment for vicar Billy Mayhew when the bishop offers him the position of archdeacon. A drunken Paul Foreman arrives at his boyfriend's flat, cracking lewd jokes and offers the bishop a beer.
And the bishop can’t escape fast enough.
Also on the cobbles, there's a shock when Leanne Battersby knocks back a bottle of wine and suggests Steve McDonald take her to bed after a gruelling day in court in the fight to keep their young son Oliver alive.
Leanne comes to her senses and apologises for making a pass at Steve, who is married to Tracy Barlow.
Unfortunately when Steve returns home, Tracy smells a rat. When Steve reveals that Leanne came onto him, an angry Tracy confronts Leanne in the hospital and she breaks down.
