Corrie spoilers: Abi collapses in agony after taking drugs ahead of accident horror

Coronation Street's Abi Webster will collapse in agony next week as her drug taking continues.

Abi - played by actress Sally Carman - is set to go back on the drugs this week as Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) throws her out after her one-night stand with Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) comes to light.

But things take an even worse turn next week, as Abi collapses in pain and agony, with fans likely to fear the worst.

Abi tragically lost her son Seb Franklin last year after he was murdered by evil villain Corey. She wanted to exact her revenge on him, even threatening to shoot him dead - but justice was served the correct way and Corey was done for his crimes.

Abi doubles over in pain (ITV)

Since then, Abi has continued to slowly move on with her loss and married Kevin in sweet scenes. However, things set to take a dark turn next week as Abi's drug taking continues to get progressively worse.

On Sunday's episode - which has been moved to that timeslot to allow for the football the other days - Abi continues to order drugs, particularly struggling with the fact it's her late son's birthday. Kevin is desperate to make things work with Abi and as he and son Jack return home from their brief holiday, he tells Debbie he's going to give it a go.

However, when he returns home to see Abi and Dean on the sofa together, he's livid and kicks her out.

Dean soon leaves her to fend for himself (ITV)

Whilst Abi's in the bathroom, Dean steals the keys to the garage and heads over to take one of the motors. Fuming, she races over and jumps in the passenger seat when she finds him revving the engine.

She tries to nick the keys off him but misses and soon the pair are in the car, hurtling down a country road. Abi is clearly in pain and as Dean stops the car, she steps out to crouch by the side of the road, trying to relieve some of her agony. To her horror, instead of helping, Dean jumps into the car and speeds off, leaving Abi alone.

Abi desperately reaches for her phone and starts to call 999 but her phone dies.

Abi and Dean have another confrontation later in the week - but will she be ok? (ITV)

Reeling from what happened, Abi returns to No 13 but gets a frosty welcome from Debbie, who assumes she must be drunk. As Tyrone finds out about the customer's stolen car, he is convinced Abi must have something to do with it after seeing her with a bag of booze.

Later in the week, a panicked Tyrone calls Abi and tells her if they can't locate the car then the business will be on its knees, so she formulates a plan. Meeting Dean at his lock-up, she lets him inspect the BMW before calling the police to report the stolen car.

However, Dean overhears her and he's fuming - is Abi is in danger and will she be ok?

Concerned Toyah calls Abi’s phone, but is shocked to hear a paramedic on the other end of the line, who says Abi has had an accident as Toyah rushes to the hospital to be by her friend's side.
