Coronation Street viewers could learn a huge truth about newcomer Laurence Reeves' past, and what really happened to his late wife Lindsey.
After Laurence began dating Sean recently, he confessed he had been married in the past but his wife tragically died.
Later this month, his past is revisited as he admits to Sean he still feels guilty for marrying Lindsey, not actually wanting to be with her.
He reveals it is the anniversary of his late wife's death, and he wants to buy her parents some flowers like he does every year.
As talk of Lindsey continues, it isn't long before Mary and Rita are overheard discussing the death as Todd Grimshaw joins them.
Intrigued, he asks the pair about it and he's left thoughtful when they tell him that Lindsey's death was big news at the time.
Still unable to shake off his recent thoughts that something might not be right about Laurence, he does some digging.
After doing some research into the death and what happened, Todd finds himself coming up with his own conclusion about what went down.
So will Todd learn the truth and is there more to what Laurence said happened, or will he find himself causing more trouble?
If he does make a big discovery, he might not even be believed after his recent antics.
It was Todd who found the picture of Laurence with Lindsey on their wedding day earlier in the year, which led to him telling Sean about his past.
It resulted in the couple splitting as Laurence didn't want to be with someone who couldn't trust him.
Also coming up this month, Todd fights his own feelings for the newcomer and ends up risking everything with a kiss.
After Laurence is keen to get to know Todd, Todd plants a kiss on him – but how will he react?
Todd believes their flirting is mutual, but whether Laurence will break Sean's heart remains to be seen.
