Corrie's Tina O'Brien was beaming with pride alongside daughter Scarlett as they attended the launch of the news series of Waterloo Road.
The actress, 13, stars in the school-based drama, which mum Tina also appeared in back in 2010.
The mother and daughter attended a special screening of the first episode of the new series in Stockport and were joined by the cast on the red carpet.
Posed to perfection, Tina, 39, captioned the snap of her daughter: "ScarlettJThomas #1fan (Proud mum).
The teen, who is the image of her mum, was joined on the red carpet by her uncle Adam Thomas, who plays Scarlett's dad, Donte Charles, in the show.
The actor looked delighted to be at the special screening, especially because his son Teddy will be playing his on-screen child in the show.
The BBC have confirmed the new series will arrive in “early 2023”, and announced the news with a look at the new cast.
Tina, who shares Scarlett with actor Ryan Thomas, couldn't wait to tell her followers Scarlett was on the show as she shared the promo pic on Instagram.
Captioning the shot, in which her daughter can be seen with her on-screen classmates, she said: "Very excited to finally be able to announce that my gorgeous, lovely, talented Scarlett Thomas will be in the new series of Waterloo Road #proudmum."
The actress' tribute went down a storm with her Corrie colleagues, with many congratulating the teen on her stunning achievement.
Helen Flanagan, who used to play Rosie Webster on the cobbles, replied with a love emoji.
While Catherine Tyldesley, who pulled pints as Rovers barmaid Eva Price gushed: "That girl has always been the brightest of stars."
Scarlett's proud dad Ryan also shared a sweet message for his daughter, writing "The secret is finally out!!! As a Father & big brother it doesn’t get much better in life to find out that my brother is going back to "Waterloo Road" where it all started for him in his career to then find out Scarlett is going to play his daughter in the show @adamthomas21."
Ryan first met Scarlett's mum at a Saturday drama club in Manchester, but it wasn't until the pair starred in Coronation Street that they hit it of.
After getting together, Tina gave birth to their daughter in 2008, but the parents' relationship ended before Scarlett's first birthday.
Ryan is now engaged to Lucy Mecklenburgh, with whom he shares two children while Tina is married to Adam Croft, whom she has a son with.
