Coronation Street spoilers may have identified who has their head turned by Damon Hay in an explosive affair plot this summer.
It was revealed by soap boss Iain MacLeod that a high profile female character would be won over by Damon, resulting in a fling with catastrophic consequences.
Now, new spoilers for next week reveal Sarah Platt gets closer to the baddie seemingly having no idea who he is.
Despite his recent drama with her brother Nick Tilsley, the pair have a drink and it isn't long before he's heading up to her hotel room.
It's not clear if anything happens between them, amid her marriage to Adam Barlow hitting the rocks.
For the rest of the week, Sarah is still interacting with Damon - with more yet to be revealed about what happens at the hotel.
With Damon being a new client of Adam's at his lawyer practice, Sarah is left unimpressed to realise Adam is still representing him.
Perhaps she has found out what he has done to Nick, or maybe she's panicked because of what's gone on at the hotel.
Either way, it seems she isn't keen on her hubby being around him now knowing who he is.
Meeting up in the ginnel, Sarah begs Damon to stay away from Nick and drop Adam as his solicitor.
Damon refuses to make any promises, but seeing as he's willing to at least consider helping her out does this mean something is there between them?
It comes after the news that Damon is set for a surprising romance this year, and that it will lead to huge scenes further down the line.
Speaking to The Mirror in December, boss Iain spilled: "He's a dangerous character. At first he might be seen as a more sophisticated operator than Harvey.
"What we discover in the not too distant future is that this polished veneer is masking something every bit as dangerous and as brutal as Harvey is.
"He upends a lot of people's lives and brings criminality to the door of a family that could probably do with moving on from their past, but suddenly, wham, they are right back in the mess again.
"There's loads of stuff to play with as he reconnects with other family members and their lives as well.
"As the year goes on, he's got this magnetic attraction for a notable high-profile female character on the show, who is going to have her head turned in a way that has very far-reaching consequences.
"I'm currently working on storylines for June and there's a build-up and then a colossal explosion in that story involving Damon and this love story that will be on air in June."
