Corrie's Sally Carman shows off rarely-seen sleeve tattoo as she leaves studio

Coronation Street actress Sally Carman was spotted heading out of the studio on Wednesday as she finished the day filming.

She showcased her stunning tattoo sleeve that covers her left arm, which she rarely displays aside from the occasional glimpse on Instagram.

The 39-year-old looked carefree and happy as she left work, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans with a frayed hem.

She wore comfy white Birkenstock sandals on her feet and accessorised with a yellow satchel across her body.

Her black and grey tattoo consists of birds, flowers and leaves that wrap around her forearm.

The soap has resumed filming now but with social distancing measures and strict hygiene standards to ensure the cast and crew keep safe.

Sally recently posted a selfie on Instagram where she was donning a face covering with a cute floral pattern.

"Masking for trouble ... #pretty #staysafe #notanad," she wrote alongside it.

The actress has found love with her co star Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe, and the couple recently celebrating becoming engaged.

Actor Joe tweeted a cute photo of the pair with glasses of champagne and an emerald ring on Sally's finger.

Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on Good Morning Britain today, Sally opened up about how they first became close to one another.

Lorraine asked whether they just 'clicked' on set, Sally, who plays Abi Franklin, said: "Well... slowly!

"We were friends for a while but then we started sharing puddings and I thought maybe something is on the boil."

However, she admitted that she was pleased that they didn't share too many scenes together.

She explained: "It's much better just because Johnny is a bit of a joker and he's very funny and he can put you a bit off your stride!"
