Tanisha, 20, cut an equally stylish figure during their day out in Manchester, wearing an all-black outfit consisting of a black minidress, a baggy jacket and statement boots - mixing things up with a white bag flung over her shoulders and long white socks peeping out over her boots.
Millie took to her Instagram Stories as they got their feet done at the basin at the Manchester salon, telling her followers: "Pamper Day... Getting ready @Officialntas [National Television Awards]."
The 27th National Television Awards will be held on Thursday at the Wembley Arena and hosted by Joel Dommett once again. The swanky bash had been due to take place Thursday 15 September but was rescheduled due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II days before the event was originally set to take to place.
The two Corrie stars enjoying a day out together comes as viewers of the ITV soap prepare to bid farewell to Kelly Neelan, as actress Millie quits the show after three-years on the cobbles.
Spilling the beans on her decision to quit Corrie, Millie explained last month: "I have no responsibilities – I don’t have kids, I don’t have a mortgage to pay or anything like that, I’m still grateful to be living at home.
"So I thought I’m just going to see what else the world has. If it does, it does - that would be quite good, wouldn’t it?
"I just thought I might as well see what happens while I’m still young," Millie told The Mirror.
The teenager went on: "Because I’m so young I thought I’ve got to leave. It was a decision where it would always be in the back of my mind if I didn’t make it, so I had to just go with it and see what happens."
Millie joined the cast of Coronation Street back in 2019 as the daughter Rick Neelan (Greg Wood), before becoming a regular star on the ITV soap in 2020 - and even winning a National Soap Award for her performance in the soap.
The star now has set her sights on other acting roles after her involvement in some of the most dramatic storylines on the cobbles in recent years.
"I'm currently auditioning so I’m just going to see how that goes. I've got so many roles in mind. I'm trying to keep myself grounded but at the same time I need to bet on myself, if that makes sense," she admitted when discuss what the future holds for her.
"I really like dramas, I’d love to do a drama again. A period drama would be incredible – I'd have to take my lashes off!"
As this careers of former Coronation Street stars including Katherine Kelly, Suranne Jones and Michelle Keegan, were mentioned, Millie admitted she would love to have a similar career arc to theirs.
"They’ve had such incredible careers. For me to have a quarter of their career would be incredible. I’d love that," she added.
