Coronation Street fans could see killer scenes on the way on the ITV soap, as Gary Windass takes revenge.
The character faces a battle to save teenager Kelly Neelan, as she's kidnapped and held at ransom by thugs.
Kelly is on a mission to return money to the people her gangster father Rick Neelan wronged, before his death a few years ago.
It was only this year that his death was confirmed and his body was found, leaving Kelly distraught - especially when she was told he had been murdered by her mother Laura Neelan.
Laura sadly died just weeks later from cancer, leaving Kelly broken.
But what she has still yet to discover is that Laura didn't kill Rick - Gary did.
Not only that, but Laura covered for Gary and took the secret to the grave, and with Kelly so angry she missed her chance to say goodbye to her mother, believing her to be a killer.
Gary's secret could soon be under threat though, as his behaviour next week leaves Kelly in fear.
Gary finds out Kelly has been taken by one of Rick's old clients, and sets off to save her.
After being told by her captor to message Gary to claim she is fine, she sends him a cryptic message that informs him something is very wrong.
She asks him to tell her mum she is okay, knowing Gary will know about Laura and realise she's asking for help.
Kieron, her captor, soon decides he wants the rest of the money Kelly has from her dad, and calls Gary from her phone and tells him that if he wants to see Kelly alive again, he needs to come up with £50k.
Gary fears the worst and manages to get some of the money, before setting off to meet the kidnapper.
He only has half the ransom though, and as he meets the thugs they make it clear that unless he finds the rest of the money, Kelly’s life will be hell.
But Gary has tricked them, and he soon forces his way into the cellar where Kelly is being held, revealing to Kelly he had put a tracking device in the money bag.
But Kieron enters and tries to thwart their escape, armed with a crowbar leading to a fight ensuing between the men.
Kelly is shocked by how far Gary is willing to go, as Gary prepares to kill Kieron - but will he do something he may regret?
Back at the flat, Kelly is left shaken after seeing Gary's antics, and questions him about his intention to kill Kieron.
Gary assures her that he was simply protecting her and there was nothing more to it.
So will Kelly believe him, or could this be the moment she learns what he is truly capable of, and could it lead to her realising what he did to Rick?
