Corrie's Alan Halsall has face of Child's Play doll Chucky on his knee in creepy snap

Alan Halsall has left fans feeling spooked with one of his latest snaps.

The Coronation Street star, 37, was bombarded with comments after his Instagram followers spotted something odd about his knee.

They thought his knee contained the image of something that looked bizarrely like Child's Play character Chucky.

Alan, who plays Tryone Dobbs in the ITV soap, had shared a picture of himself and girlfriend Tisha Merry in fancy dress as they got ready to compete in a quiz night.

In the snap he was dressed like a Peaky Blinders character complete with a pair of shorts, which drew attention to his strange body part.

And Alan took all the comments in good humour.

He shared a close up of his knee and admitted he saw the resemblance too.

"Anyone else see 'chuckie' on my knee-cap?" he wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

Alan hadn't noticed anything different about his knee when he shared the original photo.

He revealed that he and Tisha were dressed up as a Peaky Blinders extra and a burlesque beauty.

Tisha, who also starred in Corrie, looked stunning in an off the shoulder ruffled dress.

Alan said in the caption: "Burlesque & Peaky blinders is the outfit of Choice for tonight's fancy dress Quiz night!!"

Alan and Tisha celebrated their one-year anniversary this month.

They met on Corrie when Tisha played Steph Britton.

The couple made their relationship public last year and have been living together in his home in Salford.
