Coronation Street fans learned of newcomer Damon Hay's link to another character on the ITV soap on Monday, asides his relation to son Jacob Hay.
Corrie revealed Damon was also linked to killer Harvey Gaskell, who remains in prison for his crimes.
It was revealed on Monday that Damon and Harvey are brothers, making Harvey Jacob's uncle.
This may come as a shock to viewers given that Harvey groomed Jacob into a life of crime, having him deal drugs and pills for him.
Jacob groomed Simon Barlow into their dealings, leading to Harvey and Leanne Battersby's horrifying showdown as she desperately tried to save her son.
The fact that Jacob has never mentioned Harvey is a relative never mind his uncle, will no doubt shock those on the street if it comes out.
It's also shocking that Harvey did what he did to Jacob, including having him beaten up and almost killed when he decided to flee him.
It was certainly a horrifying realisation for Damon, when his son revealed to him what had happened in his four-year absence.
The fact Damon had been betrayed by Harvey and his brother harmed his son left him horrified.
It was also revealed in the episode that Damon had given his sibling a load of money a while back - only for Harvey to give this to Nick Tilsley.
Nick reluctantly used it on The Bistro amid his money woes - but Damon didn't take too kindly to finding out this news.
He confronted Nick and made it clear that while he would leave him alone for the time being, he may return.
So has Harvey caused even more trouble for Nick, just a year on from him murdering the mother of his son Sam, Natasha Blakeman?
Meanwhile, Jacob made it clear he wanted nothing to do with his dad or Harvey and wanted him to stay away.
He did tell him about Harvey breaking his legs and leaving him fighting for this life on a couple of occasions.
Moments after, a prisoner was seen entering Harvey's cell with it clear he was going to hurt him - seemingly an early Christmas present from his brother.
Jacob overheard Leanne telling Nick later on that Harvey had been left injured, after being beaten up in prison.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
