Spider pays the price for trying to bring down racist Griff in the new year, as he's left for dead.
He is currently hiding the fact he is an undercover police officer, who is trying to bring down extremist Griff and his group.
But it seems he's rumbled in upcoming scenes, and the truth leaves him fighting for his life.
After weeks of sparking suspicion with his comments to certain group members, Griff finally sets a plan into motion to set him up.
Spider comes face to face with Griff who knocks him out cold with a crowbar, and then leaves him for dead.
Nina and Roy tragedy
Nina Lucas and Roy Cropper are feared dead in a horrifying New Year's tragedy on Coronation Street.
Roy heads to the woods and accidentally drops his thermos in the river. When Nina, Brian and Asha eventually arrive to look for Roy, they spot his car and head towards the river to try and find him and see what's going on.
There are horrified to find his thermos in the water and Nina quickly makes her way down to the river bank to check for any sign of him. As she heads to the edge of the river, she slips and bangs her head. She rolls into the river, as Asha and Brian are left in sheer panic.
Brian manages to get into the water and pulls Nina's limp body out, and they call an ambulance. Will Nina be ok and where has Roy got to?
Teddy's fate
Stephen Reid's barrage of lies comes back to haunt him - as Teddy's fate is revealed.
Teddy's son Leo Thompkins was murdered by evil Stephen after he worked out that the conman was trying to fleece his own mother Audrey. The pair fought on the top of the roof and he pushed Leo off it and to his death, hiding the body and making sure his tracks were covered as he tried his best to make it look like Leo had headed to Canada.
Teddy though has been growing increasingly suspicious over Leo's true whereabouts, leaving Stephen very worried.
A freak accident over Christmas has seen Teddy land in hospital and Stephen is feeling relieved in the coming days when Jenny reveals the hospital has been in touch and Teddy has taken a turn for the worse.
Stephen tells Jenny that just before Teddy had his accident, he told him he had seen Leo in Canada, who had made it very clear he didn't want to be back in contact again, as he tries to stop them from getting in contact.
But he is dealt a blow when Teddy starts to make a recovery. As they arrive to visit him in hospital, Jenny and Stephen find him still unconscious, which of course pleases the killer. As Teddy opens his eyes, Stephen panics. But what does Teddy have to say?

She has no idea who they are or that Esther and Mike are having money issues, it seems, and soon the bailiffs begin taking possessions from the house.
As Mike and Esther return home, they are stunned when Summer tells them what has happened and shows them the letter.
But Summer wants answers, and demands they tell her what is going on and if they are in trouble.
