Corrie killer Stephen will drown his next victim in shocking new plot

Corrie serial killer Stephen Reid will drown his next victim in scenes set to stun viewers this week.

Stephen, played by actor Todd Boyce, has already killed Leo Thompkins in a fight, followed by Leo’s father Teddy. And show insiders last night revealed that the fraudster’s next victim will meet a watery end.

A source said: “Bosses expect the scene to shock people.

“Obviously, with water involved, it was a big-budget effort and all the stops were pulled out to make sure it looked flawless. Everyone is on tenterhooks to see who the next victim is going to be.

“Stephen is a man on the edge and could snap at any moment.”

Speaking about the soap murders, actor Todd, 61, said: “I think there could be more… he has a taste for it now. I think he figures that if he gets caught for three, it might as well be four or five.

“It would be great to go down in the record books as the show’s biggest serial killer. What a thing to be known for.”

Stephen killed civil engineer Leo by pushing him off some scaffolding after he rumbled his plan to defraud his mum, Audrey Roberts.

He then murdered Leo’s father Teddy by hitting him over the head with a hole punch after he started to question Leo’s disappearance.

Stephen has also been spiking Carla Barlow’s drinks with LSD in an attempt to undermine her control of the Underworld factory.

And he came near to striking client Rufus Donahue on Monday night.
