Coronation Street 's Stephen Reid risked exposing his dark crimes on Thursday night, after an incident led to the "return" of two characters.
Leo Thompkins and his dad Teddy both made comebacks to the ITV soap, sort of, leaving Stephen horrified and fleeing the room.
Viewers will know that Stephen murdered Leo last September, before killing his dad Teddy in January.
While both men are definitely dead, Stephen kept seeing them in the latest episode leading to him screaming out that he was "sorry".
He risked revealing what he had done to the men, after his plan to take down Carla Connor backfired on him hugely.
Stephen has been drugging Carla for weeks with LSD, trying to make her look unfit to run the factory.
Stephen is trying to get the factory for himself, while he also wants payback for Carla showing him up recently to some old work acquaintances.
It all went wrong on Thursday though, as he accidentally drugged himself just ahead of a huge speech in front of a room full of potential clients.
As the effects of the drug began to take hold, Stephen was sweating and looked permanently shocked or fearful.
Trying to hide what was going on, it all came to a head when he headed up on stage to give a speech.
Suddenly, he saw Leo and Teddy sat in the crowd watching him and he immediately panicked.
The entire audience soon became the murdered characters causing Stephen to run off, leaving niece Sarah Platt to do the speech.
As he headed up to his hotel room, he began seeing more visions while Teddy and Leo rejoined him.
Stephen started shouting out for it all to stop as he cried in a heap on the floor, adding he was "sorry".
Eventually he began to calm down, as Elaine got into the room and believed his symptoms were a sign he was working too hard.
As she spoke about the future with him, her comments about moving to the countryside led to another slip-up.
She believed Stephen was proposing to her as he talked of them being "for keeps" with her, leaving him unsure how to get out of the situation.
Fans know that Stephen is only using Elaine for her money and he doesn't really like her, so will another of his secrets be exposed?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
