Coronation Street's teen stars Elle Mulvaney, Matilda Freeman, Millie Gibson and Tanisha Gorey have delighted fans by recreating a scene from the classic film Mean Girls.
The Corrie girls have remade the iconic four-way phone conversation from the movie while in lockdown.
Tanisha, who plays Asha Alahan in the long-running soap, shared the clip on Twitter.
The actress told her followers: "Hope you all enjoy."
"Omg this is amazing," said one fan.
"Loving this. I was saying last night that @itvcorrie are casting some really good upcoming stars/storylines with you four," said another.
"Amy and Asha are brilliant together. Well done, brilliant talent."
"Just brilliant. Thanks for the fun," posted another fan.
The scene they've recreated is a phone conversation between the characters Regina George played by Rachel McAdams, Gretchen Wieners played by Lacey Chabert, Karen Smith played by Amanda Seyfried and Cady Heron played by Lindsay Lohan.
Tanisha takes on the role of Cady.
Millie, who plays Kelly Neelan in Corrie, portrays Regina and Elle (Amy Barlow) and Matilda (Summer Spellman) join the sketch as Gretchen and Karen.
The 2004 film is about high school social cliques and the damaging effects they can have on teenage girls.
In Coronation Street Tanisha's character Asha has been going through her own ordeal with her schoolmates after a nude video of herself, stripping for her teen crush Corey Brent, was shared online.
It was posted on a group chat in an act of revenge by Kelly and ended up on a porn site.
Asha has since been taunted over the video, but newcomer Nina Lucas came to her rescue by punching one of her tormentors on the nose.
Corrie stopped filming in March due to the coronavirus pandemic and viewers are now rationed to three half hour episodes a week instead of six.
