Coronation Street fans have criticised Leanne Battersby for being a hypocrite, as she hit out at Abi Franklin.
Social services took Elsie away from Leanne's sister Toyah in scenes shown on the ITV soap tonight, after social services grew increasingly concerned about the child's welfare as Toyah and her partner Imran argued constantly.
They had been arguing after Abi and Imran's affair came out and it was revealed they had a child together, something which devastated Toyah even more so as she is unable to conceive naturally.
And in a savage scene tonight, Leanne ripped into Abi over her drug addiction and her affair.
"You know what, I think I've just realised why you're a smackhead. I mean, you've destroyed so many people's lives, that's got to be hard to get your head around, even for someone like you," Leanne told her.
Abi asked if they could leave it, but Leanne continued with the onslaught, adding: "No let's not. Let's talk about you having sex with my sister's partner and her going AWOL because the social services are taking a kid away from her."
Abi then fumed back, insisting both her and Imran were to blame equally.
"It takes two to tango. I reckon it's Imran you need to have a word with, and Toyah's not the only one having to talk to social services. I could have my son taken off me for good, you know," she told Leanne.
However, that didn't stop Leanne in her tracks as she continued her angry rant at Abi over all that happened: "Poor little mite, probably won't be that lucky. Being adopted is probably better than having a useless junkie for a mother."
However, fans tuning into the show tonight were quick to point out Leanne shouldn't be so judgemental, given that she used to deal drugs and also worked as a prostitute for some time too.
