Corrie fans in hysterics at 'worst' e-fit as they spot epic Craig Tinker blunder

Coronation Street fans were in hysterics on Friday evening as they tuned into an hour-long episode of the ITV soap.

As Faye Windass confessed all about her hit and run to boyfriend Craig Tinker, viewers were treated to another look at an e-fit compiled by the police.

The man who Faye knocked over, named Ted, ended up dying after the accident and she and Emma Brooker have kept it a secret ever since.

Friday's episode saw Emma make a snap decision to attend Ted's funeral, despite Faye telling her not to go.

Meanwhile, Faye bumped into policeman Craig on her way to the hospital to visit her dad Tim.

Aware that she's keeping a huge secret from him, Faye tried to act normal as Craig mentioned the ongoing investigation.

He then pulled out his phone and showed Faye the e-fit so far as he claimed it reminded him of someone.

Corrie viewers were in stitches at the picture and took to Twitter to comment.

One person posted: "Absolutely screaming at that E fit #Corrie."

Another tweeted: "If that’s the e fit god help the weatherfield police that’s an insult to Emma that drawing #Corrie."

Someone else wrote: "Whatever #Craig.. You’re full of it! That’s the worst #EFIT I’ve ever seen! #Faye #Emma #Corrie."

Other fans of the ITV show were quick to point out a pretty epic blunder on Craig's part.

Many claimed that he would never be able to share confidential information about the ongoing investigation with Faye.
