Corrie 'exit', EastEnders showdown and Emmerdale's Marcus exposed - soap highlights

The soaps are lining up big scenes this week, as true colours are revealed and possibly game-changing storylines kick off.

On Emmerdale, two characters are possibly exposed as their secrets return to haunt them.

One character is heard having an alarming conversation on the phone, while the other is caught out after dating a villager and her stepdaughter with no remorse.

Elsewhere, EastEnders airs worrying scenes as Suki Panesar fears she's killed a man after she's attacked.

On Coronation Street, there could be an exit in store for Ryan Connor as he faces time in prison thanks to Debbie Webster.

Here's a look at what's ahead on the soaps this week...

Corrie exit for Ryan Connor?

Emmerdake, Coronation Street and EastEnders all line up crucial moments this week (ITV)

Ryan's exit appears to be inevitable as he faces prison this week.

The hapless bartender, played by Ryan Prescott, had hoped to turn his fortune around by participating in an insurance scam with Debbie Webster.

By staging a fake robbery, he was hoping to use the money he'd be paid by Debbie to allow him to return back to Ibiza and buy a share in a business.

However, he ended up being caught and now faces a lengthy jail sentence.

This week, Ryan is charged and told to attend the magistrates' court the next day, while Craig confirms that the CCTV footage is damning evidence against him.

Ryan later tells Debbie that they should stage fake CCTV footage of a masked gunman forcing him to rob the bistro, but she refuses to cooperate.

Ronnie finds Ryan trying to fix the camera in the Bistro himself and advises him to accept his punishment.

On Wednesday, Ronnie supports Ryan at the magistrates' court as he enters a guilty plea.

His plea is accepted by the district judge and he awaits sentencing...

Emmerdale characters exposed

Marcus accidentally reveals something he shouldn’t relating to newcomer Naomi Walters (ITV)

Emmerdale ’s Manpreet Sharma is set to get more than she bargained for on the ITV soap this week when she makes a huge discovery after eavesdropping on Marcus Dean.

Marcus accidentally reveals something he shouldn’t relating to newcomer Naomi Walters, the long-lost daughter of Charles, and long-lost sister to Ethan.

ITV spoilers have revealed that Ethan’s boyfriend Marcus is caught this week speaking on the phone about Ethan meeting up with Naomi – unaware that Manpreet is in earshot.

Manpreet interrupts Marcus to quiz him about what she's just heard - only for Charles to show up too. Will Ethan's attempts to bond with Naomi drive a wedge between him and Charles?

Elsewhere, another character finds themselves rumbled too as Kit dates both Laurel and her stepdaughter Gabby.

With Gabby completely unaware that he is the same man that Laurel is seeing, the date goes well and they end up back at Home Farm, only for Laurel to walk in.

While she doesn't catch them in the act at this point, later in the week she walks in on the pair having dinner.

EastEnders showdown

Suki Panesar finds herself in danger next week (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)

Suki Panesar finds herself in danger this week on EastEnders as she's embroiled in a violent showdown.

The matriarch has found herself cut off from her children in recent weeks after they discovered the role she had in Jags' death.

This week, Suki finds herself in an impossible situation as Ranveer continues to blackmail her. An oblivious Vinny later arrives and she continues to drift further apart from her family.

On Tuesday, Suki comes up with a plan as Ranveer wants to get straight to business - but is left furious when he discovers what she's done.

He refuses to leave and Suki promises to make it up to him. When she stands her ground, a violent showdown erupts and Suki leaves Kheerat a panicked voicemail, pleading for his help.

Elsewhere, Ravi is looking for his father and Eve points him in Suki's direction after seeing them together earlier.

Ranveer manages to overpower Suki, but she hits him over the head. On Wednesday, Suki's stomach is in knots when Ravi arrives and finds Ranveer's lifeless body. Has she killed him?
