• An interview with the writer Rachel Kushner said her husband once described her as “Spinoza with lipstick”; in fact he was referring to the late novelist Clarice Lispector. Also her son’s car is a 1969 Dodge Dart, not Dodge Charger. And a reference to the “1970s rock band the Movies” should have been to the 2000s band of the same name (‘Writing this book was like a drug high’, 31 August, Saturday magazine, p44).
• A familiar slip crept into a restaurant review that referred to an “Isle of White tomato salad”. That should have been Isle of Wight (14 September, Feast, p22).
