• An illustration accompanying an article (Britain is now learning what ‘America first’ really means, 14 February, Journal, p1) included a map that intended to show the UK highlighted in red, but the colouring was mistakenly extended across the Republic of Ireland. Also, the UK is Ireland’s biggest trading partner in Europe, not globally as we suggested (Trade between Ireland and Great Britain drops by €6bn, 18 February, p29).
