Corporate advisory firm GS Verde expands its presence in Bristol

Corporate advisory firm GS Verde has more than doubled its office presence in Bristol following a similar expansion of its Cardiff headquarters.

The new offices at Generator Building at Finzels Reach will support the increased staff count across the businesses’ multiple disciplines. GS Verde has made several appointments already this year and is actively recruiting for more staff - on the back of strong merger and acquisition activity.

The firm is also actively looking to expand its Dublin office, as it continues with an ambitious buy and build strategy.

Having previously been based at Buchanans Wharf in the city, it employs 30 at its new Bristol office. The group as a whole currently employs 60.

GS Verde advised on more 100 deals across the UK and Ireland last year, in what its best ever trading year. It is forecasting an even stronger 2022.

Its chief executive Nigel Greenaway said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our Bristol office and operations across the South West, augmenting the scope of our offering of unique M&A advisory services throughout the UK and beyond. Just a few months into 2022, GS Verde has already seen rapid growth in multiple locations, reflecting the value of our multidiscipline approach, and the appetite for corporate transactions.”
