Coronavirus infection rates across the region have fallen by almost 40 per cent, figures have revealed.
And they have dropped across all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.
Stockport continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, with a rate of 488.1 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending February 9.
The lowest infection rate is in Oldham, where the rate is 324.5 cases per 100,000 people.

In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 406.3 cases per 100,000 population.
The infection rate in the region is lower than the national average, which is 665.4 cases per 100,000 people.
A total of 11,522 people tested positive for coronavirus across Greater Manchester in the week which ended on February 9.
The Greater Manchester weekly total has decreased by 6351 cases compared to the previous week, which means the infection rate was down 36 per cent in the last week.
Hospital admissions
In the week ending on February 06, a total of 538 patients were admitted to Greater Manchester NHS hospitals with Covid-19. That is 57 fewer than the week before, a fall of 12%.
On Tuesday February 08, there were 25 Mechanical Ventilation (MV) beds occupied by Covid patients in Greater Manchester NHS hospitals. That is five fewer than a week earlier.
Deaths
In the week ending February 9, a total of 62 people died within 28 days of a positive Covid test across Greater Manchester, which is 31 fewer than the week before.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 885,852 confirmed coronavirus cases in Greater Manchester. There has been a total of 8,680 deaths.
Cases reported in each of the ten boroughs
Oldham
Oldham, which has the lowest infection rate in the region, recorded 771 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 9, which is 459 fewer than the previous 7 days.
The coronavirus infection rate in Oldham is now 324.5 cases per 100,000 people and is down by 37 per cent week-on-week.
Stockport
In Stockport, there were 1436 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 9, which is 837 fewer than the previous 7 days.
Stockport has the highest infection rate in the region. The infection rate in Stockport is down slightly compared with the previous day and the week-on-week trend is down by 37 per cent.
Salford
The trend is down in Salford, where there were 1064 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 9, which is 581 fewer than the previous 7 days. That is down by 35 per cent compared to the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Salford is 405.0 cases per 100,000 people, which is lower than the national average.
Wigan
There was a fall of 40 per cent in cases in Wigan over the week ending February 9, and the infection rate is now 385.8 cases per 100,000 population.
Wigan recorded 1276 positive Covid-19 tests over the seven-day period, and that is 849 fewer than the previous week.
Rochdale
Rochdale is an area where the trend is down. The latest infection rate here is 340.7 cases per 100,000 people.
There were 762 cases recorded in Rochdale, which is 526 fewer than the previous week - a fall of 41 per cent.
Bury
In Bury, the number of cases is down by 41 per cent compared to the previous week - leaving the infection rate at 372.8 cases per 100,000 population.
There were 711 positive Covid-19 tests in Bury in the week ending February 9, which was 502 fewer than the previous 7 days.
Bolton
Bolton recorded 1191 coronavirus cases, which is 655 fewer than in the previous seven days.
The latest infection rate in Bolton is 413.2 cases per 100,000 people and that is down 35 per cent week-on-week.
Trafford
There were 1108 positive tests over the last week in Trafford, which is 432 fewer than in the previous week.
The week-on-week trend in Trafford is down by 28 per cent and the latest infection rate is 466.4 cases per 100,000 people.
Tameside
In Tameside, the latest infection rate is 420.5 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases has gone down by 38 per cent.
A total of 955 people tested positive for Covid in Tameside over the seven days ending on February 9, which is 578 fewer than the week before.
Manchester
Manchester saw a total of 2248 cases in the week ending February 9, which is 932 fewer than the previous week. That is a fall of 29 per cent.
In Manchester, the most recent coronavirus infection rate is now 404.5 cases per 100,000 people.
