Britain is set to experience highs of up to 22C as King Charles' Coronation celebrations continue over the bank holiday weekend.
Charles and Queen Camilla were met by typical British weather with heavy showers as they were anointed in Westminster Abbey on Saturday.
Sunday will see areas of rain breaking up into heavy, possibly thundery showers for many parts of England.
Rain is expected in the east of the country, while western and central parts of the UK will remain largely dry and sunny.
However, eastern and southeast England may experience thundery downpours.
A special concert in honour of the King and Queen will take place on Sunday evening in the grounds of Windsor Castle, and the artists will be thrilled with the weather in the English capital as they should stay throughout the gig.
On Sunday, Met Office meteorologist Marco Petagna said, Britons can expect "a bit more of an east/west split" of weather conditions.
He added: "In the east tomorrow we will see further heavy showers, particularly across eastern England whereas out towards the west it’s drier and brighter and a bit warmer tomorrow as well, temperatures tomorrow could get to 22C in the south west.
"That would make it the warmest day of the year so far."
He added these highs could be enjoyed in "the London area".
Mr Petagna added: "Wet and fairly windy weather moving across from the west, sweeping eastwards across all areas Sunday night into Monday.
“Whereas Sunday, it’s more east and south-east England and then on Monday the rain coming in will be heaviest on hills in the west and north west."
He said areas in south-east England and potentially in Northern Ireland could get highs of 18C or 19C on Monday.

Remaining rain or drizzle in the east clearing to scattered heavy showers by afternoon. Many other areas dry with sunny spells. Warm away from the northeast where low cloud and an onshore breeze will maintain a cold feel.
Tonight:
Cloud, rain and strengthening winds arriving in the west during the evening and moving east to all but east and southeast England by dawn. Widely mild.
Monday:
Early sunshine in the far east but elsewhere cloudy with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. Brightening up across Northern Ireland and Scotland but some heavy, thundery showers developing.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Sunshine and showers each day. The showers locally heavy with a risk of thunder. Temperatures generally close to average but with mostly light winds feeling warm in any sunshine.
