King Charles' Coronation will take place on May 6, in a ceremony steeped in thousands of years of history.
Hundreds of thousands of well-wishers will flock to London for the state event, which will see the largest military ceremonial operation in 70 years.
Elsewhere, street parties will be held across the nation as Brits reunite with friends and loved ones to celebrate the first coronation in the UK since 1953.
Charles will be anointed with holy oil and receive the orb, ring and sceptre, before being crowned and blessed during the historic ceremony.
He will take an oath to "maintain and preserve inviolably the settlement of the Church of England, and the doctrine worship, discipline, and government thereof, as the law established in England".
Charles and Camilla will then be taken to Westminster Abbey in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach and return via the same route in the Gold State Coach.
Their procession stretches to just 1.3 miles - around a quarter of the length of the late Queen's five-mile celebratory journey which went through Piccadilly, Oxford Street and Regent Street.
To conclude events, the newly crowned monarch will appear on Buckingham Palace's balcony with other working royals, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children.
