Coronation Street viewers were stunned after ‘mini Sherlock Holmes’ Harry rumbled his mum Sarah's steamy affair with Damon Hay.
The couple’s illicit tryst was interrupted by her mum Gail and Harry, who had been picked up from school after falling ill.
After successfully managing to cover up their affair in front of Gail, Sarah told Damon he had to leave, and their steamy meet-up couldn’t continue now that she had to look after Harry, who was supposed to be tucked up in bed.
But as they indulged in a passionate kiss once again, they were unaware of her young son lurking around the corner and witnessing their raunchy clinch.
Corrie viewers were then left open-mouthed as Harry, who one fan nicknamed “mini Sherlock Holmes”, then exposed his mum and Damon’s affair by drawing a picture of them kissing while being looked after by grandmother Gail.
“Harry in his Sherlock Holmes era,” one commented on Twitter, while another agreed: “Harry exposing Sarah and Damon through a drawing. What a clever child!”
“Harry exposing Sarah's dirty little secret with a drawing... Nice lol,” one wrote.
While they were full of praise for Harry’s genius way of rumbling his mum’s affair, they were furious when Sarah tried to manipulate her son in an effort to keep him quiet over her infidelity.
She lied about water damaging the painting and destroyed it, and then spoke to her son to try and persuade him to keep quiet.
Sitting him down for a chat, she told Harry she didn’t kiss Damon, and said she was only giving him a kiss on the cheek as they said goodbye.
“But you did kiss a man, I saw you! You told me not to tell lies but you’re telling one,” the youngster fumed.
Viewers were disgusted with Sarah’s behaviour, and accused the desperate mum of gaslighting her own child to keep her affair hidden.
“He'll be in therapy for years to come because of his mum and dad,” one raged, while one added: “Telling a child to lie is wrong wrong wrong.”
“Is Sarah seriously gaslighting her son?? Hope Harry spills his guts out,” another commented.
