Coronation Street viewers immediately got confused seconds into watching the long-running soap after a schedule shake-up.
Both Emmerdale and Corrie have not long had their times changed to fit in with ITV's extended news programme coverage, but Emmerdale returned to its usual 7pm slot for one week only as Britain's Got Talent semi-finals aired.
This week, Emmerdale returned to its 7pm slot and aired a half-hour episode, whilst Coronation Street is airing every day at 7.30pm for half an hour in a huge change to the usual schedule.
Only a couple of moments into the new time, viewers were shocked and confused by what was shown on screen.
The custody battle for baby Alfie is set to be the main focus of this week's episodes of Corrie.
Things have been challenging between Abi Franklin and Imran Habeen after she lost custody of her baby to him and his new wife Toyah.
Since then, Abi has been trying her best to be better but lawyer Imran has been using questionable tactics to make sure things go his way.
The series showed a fast-forward clip of the horror crash from Imran and Toyah and the first trip to Weatherfield of the week appeared to reveal the culprit behind the collision.
Viewers got to see a sneak peek of what's to come, including police cars and officers seen on the street while Imran was heard talking.
"Look, you don't know the whole story, there are things about me that you don't understand," he was heard saying.
"But everything I did, I did for you, I did for us. For the life that we always dreamt of, but I did it wrong. I did it so wrong, I've ruined everything."
Imran, who made it look like Abi was still using drugs, was leaving a message for Toyah in which he disclosed everything.

Things will come to a head between the characters, with the police even questioning whether Abi and Kevin are behind the crash.
Fans were extremely confused with those sneak peeks and took to social media to question their sanity.
"Corrie have I missed an episode? What's going on?!" one user said.
Another questioned: "That beginning confused me. #corrie I wondered what I'd missed then."
"…. Anyone else completely confused and thought they’d missed an episode when #Corrie started tonight?" one looked to other viewers for answers.
One user was annoyed and said there wasn't a point in watching this week's episodes as Corrie had 'just shown what is going to happen'.
