Coronation Street viewers shared their adoration for the street's new pup, Freddie.
The majority of the street were gathered in the village for their regular dose of coffee and gossip when in walked a brand new face. Freddie was accompanied by Roy's pal, Melvyn, and though we barely got a chance to greet him, he went down a storm with everyone.
It was a blink-and-you'll-miss-him a moment but Freddie became the centre of attention from Roy, Glenda and Evelyn who offered him nothing but attention and compliments.

The pup also went down a storm with fans who flooded social media with their own praise. One viewer said: "Freddie the dog is so cute." Another added: "Cute little dog." While a third said: "Freddie the dog is adorable!" And a final added: "Freddie the dog is too adorable."
His arrival comes shortly after the death of Evelyn's greyhound, Cerberus, which left viewers distraught. After Melvyn "takes a turn" himself and lands in the hospital, Roy is forced to take ownership of Freddie who quickly becomes attached.
Roy tries to fend off his affection for the dog but Freddie's cuteness is too much for him to handle.
