Coronation Street viewers horrified by Beth Tinker's 'sickening' comment

Coronation Street viewers were horrified by Beth Tinker's comment on tonight's show.

The character's marriage to Kirk Sutherland hit another stumbling block on Monday's episode as she went on a date with her former lover. Beth has reconnected with Marco and the two met up for a drink on the latest programme.

It is the latest in a raft of problems to hit the longstanding onscreen couple. Kirk threatened to move out of the house last week when he discovered Beth had lied about hitting Hope.

The two put their differences aside at the end of Friday's episode and it appeared their problems were now behind them. However, Beth and Marco enjoyed a flirtatious reunion in tonight's programme.

Beth lied to other members of the street that she was out with a friend as she ended the boozy affair by going to the shop to get some food. However, fans following the show on Twitter were disgusted when Beth asked for a microwaveable burger.

Neil said: "Beth just been in a Bistro all afternoon, that serves food, but comes out and buys a microwave burger from Dev."

Samantha added: "She’s getting a microwave burger from the shop yet there’s a kebab shop round the corner??!"

Greg posted, alongside a sick emoji: "Microwavable burgers.."
