Tyrone Dobbs is one of Coronation Street's most iconic characters.
The character has been played by Alan Halsall in the long-running soap since 1998. The actor was 16 when he first arrived on the show as Jackie Dobbs' troubled son.
The iconic Corrie character is said to be born on Merseyside as his mum was played by Liverpool's Margi Clarke. Tyrone settled in Weatherfield after he was given a job as a trolley collector by Curly Watts.

He eventually moved into 9 Coronation Street with Jack and Vera Duckworth as their adopted son and has been involved in some of the ITV show's most iconic storylines.
He was embroiled in a turbulent marriage to Molly Compton, who was killed off in the dramatic live episode when a tram crashed into the corner shop. He also had a child named Ruby from his relationship with Kirsty Soames - and had been involved in a long relationship with Fiz until he fell for Alina Pop.
Fiz has since moved on with Phill Whittaker and Tyrone was devastated this week as the character, played by Jennie McAlpine, prepared to move away from the Cobbles.
Away from the screen, Alan Halsall was involved in a high profile relationship with Lucy Jo-Hudson. The soap star played Katy Harris on Corrie from 2002 - 2005 and now plays Donna-Marie Quinn in Hollyoaks.
Alan met Lucy on set in 2005 and they married in 2009 before welcoming their first child named Sienna-Rae in 2013. However, they eventually split in 2018, but still committed to raising their daughter together. Both of them now have new partners, with Lucy-Jo's new love Lewis Devine sparking Alan's fury when he referred to Sienna as his "own" on social media.
Speaking about welcoming son Carter with Lucy-Jo in February 2020, Lewis wrote: "Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!” Alan then hit back in a furious Instagram post, which he has since-deleted.
He said: “You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter.”
Lucy-Jo addressed the spat in an interview with OK! magazine, She said: "I had literally just given birth to Carter when he posted that so I didn’t see it and my head was elsewhere. He quickly deleted it so he must have regretted it."
Alan has moved on from the marriage with Lucy-Jo and is now in a relationship with Tisha Merry, who played Steph Britton on Corrie. Tisha moved in with Alan and Sienna-Rae in his luxury mansion in Manchester in 2019.
The soap stars often share updates from their happy family life, which has given fans an insight into his stunning home. The house is a huge white mansion, with grey doors and window frames, plus a large balcony on the first floor and several glass doors that lead out into the garden.
In the garden itself, Alan and Tisha have an enormous inflatable pool, as well as a large outdoor seating area and a wide patio area and lawn where his daughter Sienna can play.
Coronation Streets airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV and ITV Hub
