One of the nation’s most famous streets is undergoing a ghoulish makeover this Halloween as it prepares to relive some of its most ghoulish storylines. For spooky season only, the cobbles have been transformed into Horror-nation Street as part of a special October fan tour.
With Halloween just days away, visitors can revisit ghosts of storylines past and explore over 60 years of the street’s worst villains. Promising a spooky set makeover to give guests an eerie tour experience, with pumpkins and atmospheric lighting, guides will be sharing tales from the darker side of the soap.
The 90-minute tour lets fans walk in the footsteps of fan-favourite characters, and walk around the famous landmarks from Roys Rolls and Rovers Return to Underworld and The Kabin. The spooky series will entail some twists and seasonal quirks including trick or treating and other treats.

On selected dates, there will also be a surprise in store from a notorious villain of storylines past when they book onto one of the Spooky Star Tours. Visitors will get full access to the Horror-Nation Street Tour and get the chance to meet and greet a mystery cast member.
The Coronation Street tours were brought back earlier this year, after a two year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. In July it was announced that a series of Star Tours would launch, giving guests the chance to meet members of the cast while exploring behind the scenes of the nation’s most famous street.
As part of the Horror-Nation launch, fans were asked to vote for their favourite Corrie villain, via an Instagram poll. Of the most prolific baddies to grace the street, Richard Hillman was voted as the ultimate villain of the show. Other notable villains include Tracy Barlow, Clayton Hibbs and David Platt.
Tickets to the Horror-Nation Street Tour cost £28 for adults, and £40 for adults to the Stars Tour, and you can book your place here. Any ticket booked for October will automatically include all Horror-Nation Street activities.
