Coronation Street star Sally Ann Matthews has revealed a behind-the-scenes secret behind upcoming scenes in the ITV soap after Daisy Midgeley's catfishing of Ryan Connor was exposed.
This week on the cobbles, viewers saw Daisy having to confess to Ryan that she was behind the text messages from Crystal after the penny drop and he had already figured out the truth. The pair have been brought closer in recent months through their shared trauma after the horrifying acid attack.
Barmaid Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, was the intended victim of the heinous crime carried out by her stalker Justin Rutherford on her wedding day. However, unaware of what he was about to do, Ryan stepped in and bared the brunt of the attack leaving him with life-changing injuries.

But following the conclusion of the trial earlier this month, which saw Justin found guilty despite him trying to twist the truth and lie his way out of being sentenced, Daisy and Ryan, played by actor Ryan Prescott, kissed.
They have since kissed again after Daisy's fiance Daniel Osbourne urged a guilty Daisy to pay Ryan a visit. The pair ended up watching TV together. But before long, Daisy and Ryan started opening up about their feelings.
While Daisy apologised for kissing Ryan when he was vulnerable, Ryan admitted that he missed her and wanted to kiss her again and it wasn't long before they were locking lips but were interrupted when Carla returned home and the jittery pair claimed they had just been watching TV.
However, Corrie fans later saw Ryan confront Daisy after he heard from Max that he'd heard Ryan's desperate message as he unknowingly battled sepsis after his initial release from the hospital, on Daisy's spare phone.
In Carla's flat, Ryan branded Daisy a "liar" and said he never wanted to see her again, before leaving the flat to go and tell Daniel the truth about their two kisses. But once in the Rovers, a drunk Ryan backed out of telling the truth when Daniel made reference to his son Bertie and announced to the rest of the pub, including landlady Jenny Connor, that Daisy had been catfishing him.
Following the episode, Jenny actress Sally Ann took to Twitter as she revealed a little bit of information from filming for what's unfolding on-screen and what is to come within the storyline.
She tweeted: "BTS secrets. We ate a LOT of flying saucers between takes for the following few weeks x #Corrie," appearing to suggest the drama is far from over and they needed some sugar rushes to get through. Sally then added in a hashtag 'Sorry Not Sorry."
