Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney has been branded a 'stunner' as she debuted her new hairdo. The actress, who is known for playing Amy Barlow in the ITV soap, paid a trip to the salon in a break from her acting duties on the long-running show.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Elle appeared to show her fans and followers that she'd gone back to the dark side after previously getting blonde highlights in her luscious tresses last year. The soap star posed for the selfie in the car and simply tagged her hairdresser, @hairby_hanlou."
She then took to her main Instagram grid as she posed in the sunshine, before the bad weather arrived later in the evening, while showcasing her freshly dyed locks.

"Photobombed by bowie the dog," she captioned the post to her 100,000 followers, referring to her adorable pet pooch who just got into the shot. However, all the compliments were for Elle who looked gorgeous in a black tee which she wore tucked into a pair of stone-coloured cargo trousers.
She finished her look with a pair of trainers and a white handbag while her brunette locks had been styled into soft curls. And it didn't take long for her pals and her followers to respond.

Elle's trip to the hairdressing salon comes after she was seen posing with her boyfriend's new Waterloo Road co-star, who also happens to be related to her Corrie castmate. Elle and her other half Liam Scholes have been seen putting on a few loved-up displays since they went public with their blossoming romance last year.
Liam, who previously played Eli Higginson during Corrie's hate crime storyline, currently stars in Waterloo Road as Noel McManus, last week headed to Drayton Manor Resort with Elle to celebrate the launch of Summer Nights – a brand new event running every Saturday and Sunday until the end of August, with an impressive line-up performing live each weekend.
And also in attendance was Hattie Dynevor who recently announced she was joining the cast of BBC school-based drama Waterloo Raod. The daughter of Corrie icon Sally Dynveor, announced the news on social media alongside a snap of her in character, writing: "So excited to finally reveal I’ll be playing the series regular role of Libby Guthrie in #WaterlooRoad." She added: "Thrilled to be joining such an amazing cast and crew."
Mum Sally, who plays Sally Metcalfe - nee Webster - in Corrie, was quick to respond to the post, writing: "I couldn’t be prouder. Love you," alongside a string of red hearts. And Elle simply replied with a number of clapping emojis. They were then spotted together at Drayton Manor, posing for a snap before taking on a number of the theme park's rides.
