Stephen Reid will make a move on Jenny Connor on Coronation Street next week.
He returned to the Cobbles recently, just in time for his mother Audrey Roberts to fall and injure herself, and he has since been by her side to ensure she's ok and look after her. He has also been probing her about her health and her will, with many fans suspecting he has an ulterior motive with it all and wants to get his hands on her cash.
Stephen has also been growing close to Sarah, praising her about her business, and now it seems Jenny is set to fall into his trap too. In next week's episodes, after finding out about Jenny owning the pub, Stephen sets his plan.
Next week, Jenny and Leo hit a difficult point as he takes up a labouring job with Ed. He is still sour about having to stay in Weatherfield and him and Jenny discuss the future, as she admits she doesn't want to stand in his way.
In the following episode, Jenny admits she's over Leo - and tells Rita she'll be better off without him. However, Rita doesn't quite believe her that she's fine with the pair of them possibly splitting up.
Sarah and Stephen continue to discuss Underworld and business when she drops the bombshell that Jenny is the sole owner of the pub, and he's immediately excited by the fact. He decides to flirt with Jenny, and tipsy, she invites him to the back of the pub.
As she hands him a drink, she leans in and kisses him passionately. Meanwhile, Leo has had a chat with Rita and Gemma and decides he's made his decision - he's going to propose to Jenny and tell her how he really feels.
As Gemma heads through to the back room with Leo, what will they find - and will it all be over before it even begins?
Stephen has been worrying viewers with his interest in his mother's will, with some fans convinced he will try and murder her in a horrific twist to the scamming storyline.
"I can visualise Stephen sabotaging something in the salon to electrocute Audrey," one fan suggested, as another added: "Stephen paving the way for Audrey to have a suspicious accident #Corrie."
