The walls are closing in on Coronation Street serial killer Stephen Reid.
The callous businessman has recently claimed his third victim, with viewers shown Rufus Donahue killed in a flashback during Friday's episode. Rufus had been blackmailing him into handing over 50% of the profits from Underworld’s new venture Nippersnapper, after he discovered Stephen had been drugging Underworld boss Carla Connor.
Stephen pretended he was about to sign over his stake in the business, before spiking Rufus' drink with LSD, pushing him into the swimming pool, and holding his head under the water until he drowned.

It comes after Stephen earlier killed Leo Thompkins and then Leo's dad Teddy. So far his heinous crimes have gone unnoticed, but next week things will come to a dramatic head.
While showing off his new car and showing Owen and Angelique samples of their first order with Michael and Sarah, Stephen opens a hand delivered letter. He is shocked to find a single line reads: “I know what you did to Rufus”.
Later, over at the Rovers, he struggles to get into a celebratory mood with the others as they drink to the second order.
Meanwhile Elaine tells Tim and Sally that she and Stephen will be moving into their apartment any day. Tim’s horrified to realise she intends to marry him. Tim angrily tells Stephen that he’d prefer to die than let him marry his Mum.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITVX
