Elsewhere, David visits Max Turner and quizzes him closely about his mental state which leads Max to realises David's been talking to Daniel Osbourne. Previously, viewers saw Max swipe Daniel's phone before slipping it back onto Daniel’s desk.

At No.1, Daniel scrolled through his phone and finds Max’s video diary. In the Rovers, Daniel watched Max’s heart-rending video and later, he told Ken Barlow and Daisy Midgeley about Max’s video and how he intended to help him.

Meanwhile, David visited Max hoping that he'd open up to him like he did in the video but Max gave nothing away. Next week, David is forced to admit that he saw the video he made for Daniel, leaving Max furious. At No.8, David confides in Daniel about how concerned he is for Max which gives Daniel an idea.

At the STC, Daniel hands Max his mobile and tells him there’s a message on it from David. Later, Max listens to David's message. Max admits to Daniel that he watched David’s video, but hasn’t recorded a reply.

Viewers will see Max slowly admit to David how guilty he feels. David tells Max he was groomed and that he’s close to being released. David tells Max he loves him, Max grateful for his support.

And elsewhere viewers will see Faye Windass trying to bury her true feelings as she prepares to say goodbye to her daughter Miley for a second time. The youngster returned to the cobbles with her dad, Jackson, back in March. Jackson had been trying to contact Faye after he and their daughter moved back from Canada after a number of years away.

But due to their young age, Faye felt she wasn't capable of looking after a child and Jackson took sole custody of Miley and went to live in Canada with his parents. Faye was clearly unnerved by Jackon and Miley's return and claimed she didn't want anything to do with them.

However, that soon changed and Faye een kissed Jackson who later told her boyfriend Craig Tinker that Faye wanted to be with him, despite accepting Craig's impromptu proposal. But next week, at the precinct, when Miley admits how much she’s going to miss her, Faye hides her emotions. Miley puts pressure on Faye to move to Slough with her and Jackson.

But there's another curveball for Faye in the Rovers when Craig tells Faye that he’s been given a secondment with CID. Faye is quizzed about her feelings for Jackson by her brother Gary and she admits that Jackson tried to kiss her. But it’s Craig she loves and Jackson refuses to accept it.

Gary lures Faye and Jackson to the furniture shop and urges them to talk. Jackson tells Faye that by choosing Craig over him, she’s making the biggest mistake of her life. Meanwhile, Craig arrives at the bistro for a surprise party to celebrate his secondment and is taken aback to find all his family and friends there. Noting that both Faye and Jackson are missing, Craig calls Faye’s phone.

When he hears it ringing in the furniture shop, he heads over. And faye tells Jackson to hide when she realises Craig is close. Jackson initially refuses but gives in to Faye’s pleas. Craig enters, suspicious of Faye.
