Adam Barlow isn't the first to find out about wife Sarah's baby news next week when she discovers she is expecting in Coronation Street. The Underworld manager has already admitted to having an affair with Damon Hay behind her husband's back.
So finding out she's pregnant won't make winning Adam around any easier for Sarah. Next week in the ITV soap, Sarah joins Dee-Dee Bailey in the Rovers, but as she takes a sip of her wine, she baulks and worried she might be pregnant, hurries out.
Back at home, Sarah looks at her positive pregnancy test in total shock. In scenes to air on Monday (June 26), Sarah tells Dee-Dee she’s pregnant. Sarah’s reeling and worries this will mean the end of her marriage but Dee-Dee tells her if she wants to save her marriage, she needs to tell Adam the truth.

Stealing herself, she hands Adam the pregnancy test and admits that she doesn’t know who the father is leaving Adam. She's soon attending a DNA appointment and does her best to remain positive but will Adam be by her side to support her when she gets the news?
Later, Adam finds Sarah and Michael celebrating in the Rovers and when Sarah enthuses about businessman Owen and his passion for Nippersnapper, Adam takes the hump and leaves.
Elsewhere, Evelyn Plummer comes face-to-face with her daughter as Corrie viewers see Tyrone Dobbs' real mum for the first time.
When Evelyn grumbles to Tyrone about Roy spending time with Yasmeen Metcalfe, unbeknownst to them, they're being watched by Cassandra Plummer. Following Tyrone’s advice, Evelyn steals herself and invites Yasmeen and Roy to join her later at the Bistro.
But as Evelyn heads home, she spots Cassie across the street but chooses to ignore her. On her way to the bistro, she receives a call which stops her in her tracks. As Roy and Yasmeen wait for Evelyn, she's nowhere near the cobbles as she hurries into A&E reception and explains that her daughter has been admitted as an emergency.
On Wednesday (June 28), Evelyn visits Cassie who has overdosed, in hospital. But Evelyn wants to know how Cassie found her, Cassie admits she came to Evelyn looking for money.
Later in the week, Evelyn receives a call from the hospital but chooses to ignore it. After much soul searching Evelyn calls at the hospital only to discover Cassie has discharged herself. Evelyn returns home to be met by Tyrone who reveals that someone called Cath has come to see her.
However, Evelyn enters the living room and is horrified to see Cassie grinning at her from the sofa. When Tyrone enquires how they know each other, Evelyn’s thrown into panic as her lies about her grandson's biological mother being dead face spilling out.
Meanwhile, as Elaine Metcalfe practises her Tai-Chi exercises, Stephen Reid snaps at her and heads off for work leaving Elaine worried about his low mood. Michael Bailey reckons his bad mood is down to the fact he’s missing Canada.
But in the meantime, Jenny Connor offers to put in a good word for him with businessman Owen, who is currently in line to buy Calra's shares in Underworld, leaving Stephen grateful.
Later, when Stephen reveals that it’s Canada Day, Elaine forms an idea. Determined to win Owen round, Stephen invites him for lunch. In the flat,in scenes to air on Friday (June 30) Owen levels with Stephen and admits that he doesn’t trust him and suspects he’s using Seagull Ltd to siphon money from Underworld and wants Jenny for himself.
Stephen tries to deny the accusations but Owen’s not listening. But as Stephen tries to argue, the door opens and Elaine, Audrey Roberts, Sarah Barlow and Michael burst in waving flags and wishing him a happy Canada Day. Stephen paints on a smile, but he’s taken aback to clock Elaine scowling at him.
