Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien looks sensational in silky mini dress as she steps out amid baby drama

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien looked sensational as she headed out to party with her soap pals. The actress, who plays Sarah Barlow, escaped her character's current baby drama to let her hair down at the ITV soap's summer party.

Alongside Tina, Corrie legend Bill Roache, aka Ken Barlow, lead the arrivals for the bash in Manchester city centre on Tuesday night (July 11) as they headed to popular celebrity haunt The Ivy for the mid-year celebrations.

But all eyes were on 39-year-old Tina as she showed off her toned and tanned pins in a black and white mini dress. The soap star, from Rusholme, stopped to pose up a storm in the thigh-skimming number as she arrived at the swanky venue in Spinninfields.

Tina added height to her petite frame by popping on a pair of nude heels and accessorised with a small pink handbag over her shoulder and a number of different jewellery pieces including multiple rings and a gold and silver T-bar chain.

Meanwhile, her silky blonde locks had been styled into a party-ready updo with a bun sitting at the back of her head while keeping a few face-framing pieces down at the front which had been curled.

Tina was joined at the event by a whole host of her colleagues including Corrie's newest star Claire Sweeney, who recently earned praise for her first appearance as Cassie Plummer, and Stephanie Davis who brought the summer vibes in a tropical cut-out dress that gave glimpses of her glowing tan.

Also attending the summer party was Bill Fellows (Stu Carpenter), Rob Mallard (Daniel Osbourne), Tony Maudsley (George Shuttleworth), Mollie Gallagher (Nina Lucas), Ryan Rusell (Michael Bailey), Dolly-Rose Campbell (Gemma Winter), Ryan Prescott (Ryan Connor), Sally Dynevor (Sally Metcalfe), and Vinta Morgan (Ronnie Bailey).

Meanwhile, Julia Goulding (Shona Platt), Daniel Brocklebank (Billy Mayhew), Georgia Taylor (Toyah Habeeb), Tanisha Gorey (Asha Alahan), Sally Carman (Abi Webster), Harriet Bibby (Summer Spellman) and Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow) were also seen arriving for the annual event.

It comes after Tina appeared make-up-free as she shared a backstage snap from her second job away from the soap. When Tina isn't busy portraying Sarah's latest trials and tribulations on the cobbles, she has another important job inspiring the next generation of acting talent.

Away from Weatherfield, Tina owns drama school, The Drama MOB, which this weekend will be celebrating its 10th birthday after introducing a new generation of talent to the soap.

The mum-of-two who has played feisty Sarah Barlow nee Platt in Corrie since 1999, launched The Drama Mob in 2013 with her best friend Esther Morgan, 40, after the star couldn’t find a suitable acting class for her daughter Scarlett, who was then aged three.

Since then the drama school has grown from strength to strength and Tina, who has been working in TV and theatre since she was 10, regularly teaches in the classes and offers one-to-one guidance. And fellow director Esther, a former primary school teacher specialising in drama, manages The Drama MOB casting agency.
