Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien joins glamorous co-stars at soap's glitzy summer party

Tina O’Brien lead the star-studded arrivals, alongside TV legends Barbara Knox and Bill Roache, at the annual Coronation Street summer party in Manchester.

Held at The Ivy last night, the actors, who play Rita Tanner and Ken Barlow in the ITV soap, were mobbed by fans outside the glitzy bash.

Tina, who plays Sarah Platt, flashed her waterboard abs as she stepped out in an all-black outfit made up of a feathered mini skirt and black blazer, she complimented the fit with a shiny gold necklace.

The 38-year-old finished off the outfit with a pair of strapped black shoes, a golden watch – to match the necklace – and a glittery clutch bag.

Proving to be clear fan favourites, Corrie fans pounced on Bill and Barbara to grab a selfie with the soap stars before they headed into the venue.

Corrie’s longest-serving star Bill, who turned 90 earlier this year, was seen with cash in his hands after paying his driver for the journey in.

He smiled for the cameras as he stepped out in a buttoned-down white shirt which he tucked into a pair of blue trousers, paired with a matching blue blazer.

Barbara, 88, who has starred in Corrie for 40 years, was also mobbed by selfie-seekers.

She stopped to greet fans and sign autographs before being ushered into the popular celebrity haunt in Manchester’s Spinningfields.

Barbara looked beautiful in a patterned, round neck dress which she wore over a pair of black trousers and teamed with a pair of black heeled shoes.

Both sporting white shirts, Jack P Shepherd and Colson Smith, aka David Platt and PC Craig Tinker, were also seen making their way into the swanky city restaurant.
