Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has gushed over her actress daughter as she reminisced about their recent break with a stunning snap. Tina took to her Instagram Story with the photo of Scarlett Thomas who TV fans may recognise for appearing in the new series of Waterloo Road.
The popular Greater Manchester-based show, which launched back in 2006 and ran until 2015 after relocating to Scotland, returned to BBC One earlier this year before a second run of the rebooted series aired on-screen last month. And Scarlett, Tina's daughter with her former co-star ex-Ryan Thomas, was cast alongside her real-life uncle and cousin.
Ryan's younger brother Adam reprised his role of Donte Charles, who has now gone from pupil to member of staff. He's joined by Scarlett, 14, and his son Teddy, eight, playing Donte and his late with Chlo's children Izzi and Tommy.

And back to Tina's photo and the Corrie star, who is know for playing Sarah Barlow - nee Platt - in the ITV soap, shared how the pair had recently spent some time in Marbella with Tina's husband, Adam Crofts, and their son, Beau.
"Oh my, Scarlet is just [love hearts eyes emoji]," the Rusholme-born star wrote alongside the photo of her teenage daughter resting her chin on her arms as she propped herself up at the side of the pool from in the crystal blue water. The youngster's recently highlighted locks were left down as she covered her eyes in a pair of dark shades.
"Throwback to last weekend for our trip to Marbs," Tina added. It comes after Tina was seen leaving the drama of Weatherfield behind her as she was seen sipping what appeared to be a gin and tonic on a sun lounger. Last week she took to her Instagram Story with a sizzling snap of her enjoying the sunshine while sporting a classic black cross-neck two-piece that showed off her toned abs.
Her blonde locks were swept off her face and she was wearing sunglasses as she gave a smouldering stare to the camera for the selfie while holding her drink in her other hand. It came after she posted a snap of herself sporting a black and white Aztec dress and said she was giving 'holiday vibes'. But all eyes were on her accessories as she looked away from the camera and pulled black her tresses to how of her sparkling drop earrings.
Meanwhile, back in April, Tina reshared a post that showed TV star Scarlett heading to the hair salon for her first colour treatment. She shared video clips of Scarlett before her makeover and her hair in foils as she linked to stylist Kia Styles' page.
And in the caption of the clips on her Instagram Stories, Tina shared her pride for her daughter while also sharing why fans may not see her two children regularly appearing on her social media page. "My little lady getting all grown up," she wrote before adding: "I don't post often about my S&B. I'll only post what they are happy to share and is comfortable for them."
