Coronation Street stars Tina O'Brien and Ryan Thomas will soon be watching their daughter on the small screen.
Scarlett Thomas has been announced as one of the cast members of Waterloo Road.
The BBC One drama is being filmed in Manchester and will return to TV screens this year.
Scarlett's uncle Adam Thomas has already been confirmed to be making a return to the series as Donte Charles.

And he isn't alone as wife Chlo, played by Katie Griffiths, who were fans' favourite couple from the series before it made a big move up to Scotland.
Now, Adam has revealed during an appearance on BBC's Morning Live that his niece will be playing his daughter, Izzy Charles, when Waterloo Road returns.
He said: "What I can tell you is my little niece Scarlett Thomas is going to be joining the cast of Waterloo Road.
"Dante and Chlo had a little baby called Izzy many moons ago and she’s now grown up and my little niece gets to play her.
"My brother’s daughter gets to play my on-screen daughter."
An image of the cast together on set during rehearsals has also been released as the school-based drama begins filming today (Monday) in Greater Manchester.
Actors playing pupil characters have been announced as Adam Abbou (Time), joining the cast as ‘Danny Lewis’, Priyasasha Kumari (You Don’t Know Me) playing ‘Samia Choudhry’, with Noah Valentine (The Bay) joining as ‘Preston Walters’. Adam Ali (Little America) has been cast as ‘Kai Sharif’ while Alicia Forde joins as ‘Kelly-Jo Rafferty’, Francesco Piacentini-Smith (Masters Of The Air) cast as ‘Dean Weever’, Liam Scholes (Coronation Street) as ‘Noel McManus’ and Lucy Eleanor Begg as ‘Caz Williams’.
Joining Scarlett in the junior student cast includes Summer Violet Bird playing ‘Tonya Walters’, Ava Flannery as ‘Verity King’, Thapelo Ray ( Doctors ) cast as ‘Dwanye Jackson’, Inathi Rozani ( Biff and Chip ) joining as ‘Zayne Jackson’, Chiamaka (ChiChi) Ulebor playing ‘Shola Aku’ with Sahil Ismailkhil as Norrulah Ashimi - who was talent scouted following a production research trip to a local Leeds school.
The news comes after former Corrie stars Kym Marsh and Rachel Leskovac were announced as joining the school’s staff and returning star Angela Griffin, playing headteacher Kim Campbell, was revealed last month.
Scarlett is the daughter of former couple Ryan, who played Corrie's Jason Grimshaw, and Tina, who still stars in the ITV soap as Sarah Barlow and previously starred in Waterloo Road herself.
Last year the 13-year-old wowed fans of her uncle Scott Thomas when he created a First Dates-style ad for Asda's fashion and homeware range George showcasing her and seven-year-old cousin Teddy's acting talents.
Adam and Scott recently shared their pride for their niece as she appeared in a stage production of Matilda.
In 2020, Scarlett wowed Ryan by belting out With You from Ghost The Musical for him on Father's Day.
And in 2019 Tina told us that Scarlett was keen to work in musical theatre.
Tina told us: "From the age of three she started singing so she started singing before she showed any interest in acting.
"She used to say 'I don't really fancy the acting but I like the singing' and she used to sing Castle On A Cloud from Les Mis.
"A teacher sent me a video of her singing it and I thought 'oh my gosh she's actually really quite good.'
"She's got a lovely singing voice."
