Sarah Barlow appears unable to steer clear of Damon Hay and the pair are set to make a fresh mistake in Coronation Street. It is no secret to viewers that the two characters have been flirting up a storm with one another behind Sarah's husband Adam Barlow's back.
And in scenes aired last month, fans of the ITV soap saw Sarah and Damon sleep together. Sarah has ended up in a web of lies after finding chemistry with drug dealer Damon who has been making life a misery for her own brother on the cobbles. But despite being his brother-in-law, Adam took on Damon's case after he was caught running a drugs operation out of the Bistro.
Unbeknownst to who he was, Sarah and Damon met weeks ago in a hotel bar, But Sarah, played by Tina O’Brien, and Damon, played by Ciaran Griffiths, have continued to flirt wildly with Damon saying he was determined to bed her. And it wasn't long before Damon seized his opportunity and gave Underworld factory manager Sarah a lift to the hotel for a meeting.

Later, after he helped her win over the buyer she was meeting, Sarah claimed to be furious with Damon. But after drinking champagne together she threw caution to the wind and they slept together. After, a guilty Sarah told Damon they needed to end their relationship, especially because he looked set to go to prison.
But there was a twist as Adam and colleague Dee-Dee Bailey found a way to keep him from behind bars. The legal whiz also ended up finding out about Sarah and Damon but that still doesn't appear to have stopped Sarah as next week she goes behind her husband's back once more, despite deciding they should try for a baby of their own.
Overhearing Dee-Dee and Beth Sutherland gossiping about Damon’s black eye, she calls at the bistro to find Damon there alone. When he leans in and kisses her, Sarah kisses him back and they head into the office, locking the door behind them.
Meanwhile, Paul Foreman has his day in court where Paul pleads guilty. Adam and Dee-Dee tell Leanne that they called at the Bistro as they need a meeting about the late licence, but they found the place locked. Nick, Leanne, Adam and Dee-Dee will then be seen heading into the bistro wondering where Damon’s got to. In the office Sarah and Damon freeze with fear, will they be caught red-handed?
Back in January, the soap's producer Iain MacLeod told the Manchester Evening News and other press about Damon's high-profile affair, saying at the time: "There’s something about a bad boy and he’s got this magnetic attraction for a notable, high-profile female character in the show who ends up having her head turned in a way that has very far-reaching consequences."
He then teased: "There’s a build-up then a colossal explosion in that story involving Damon and this love story that will be on-air in June."
