Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon says she 'had a moment' as she shares emotional memories amid night out with co-stars

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has shared how she 'had a moment' while on a night out with her husband and her co-stars. The actress, who fans know for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, enjoyed seeing Lionel Ritchie on stage at Lytham Festival with a number of her castmates.

Taking to Instagram, Samia shared a snap of herself and her other half Sylvain, one of the professional skaters on Dancing on Ice, as well as some pictures of Lionel and Kim Wylde, who supported him at the four-day event, on stage.

"So much fun last night seeing @lionelrichie @kimwildeofficial and @gabrielleuk thank you @lythamfestival," the soap star typed alongside the smiling snap as she and her husband sported matching denimn jackets. But Samia then warned: "Sorry @slongchambon but you might not get your shades back."

And it didn't take long for fans to gush over the couple. @kevdix1956 said: "Look amazing you two so happy glad you enjoyed it." @maggiej2109 commented: "A lovely couple." @davdcunningham replied: "Looking fab guys." @nzmichellem posted: "How can you be even cooler in real life." @lynda.angus added: "Lovely pic of you both."

Samia then later took to her Instagram Story where she shared a picture taken of herself and Sylvain as they listened to and watched Lionel's performance. With the night starting to set and a sea of people in front of them, Sylvain could be seen with his arm sweetly around his wife.

"Had a moment listening to @lionerichie sing my dad's favourite song live," Samia wrote alongside a face holding back tears emoji and a red heart before setting the photo to the track Three Times A Lady.

It comes after Samia shared a simple yet heartbreaking message as she remembered her beloved late dad, Joseph, on what would have been his birthday. On her Instagram Story toward the end of last month, the 40-year-old posted a photo of herself from when she was a kid with her dad, Joseph.

"Happy heavenly birthday Dad," she typed alongside an angel emoji and yellow love heart. She then added: "Miss you every day," alongside a broken heart emoji.

Samia was also at Lytham Festival with a number of her Corrie co-stars. Daniel Brocklebank was snapped at the event with his new 'fella' after former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison, who was also in attendance, seemingly confirmed Dan's new relationship as she shared a selfie of herself with the Corrie star and police officer and musician Jordan Coulthard on Instagram.

Cheryl captioned the post: "Met some Corrie pals, @tonymaudsley1 @danielbrocklebank and his fella @_coulthard what an eve x.” Jordan also shared some images of himself with Daniel's co-stars on the social media platform.

And Jordan appeared to be making friends with his new partner's soap pals as he shared one photo of him alongside Samia saying: "sorted your fringe out a few times love @samia_longchambon." With the actress replying to say: "You did a great job #fringewatch" with a series of emojis including a laughing one and a red heart.
