Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor ‘Heartbroken’ as Family Faces Devastating Crisis

Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has opened up about her distress over the devastating LA wildfires that disrupted her plans and left her deeply concerned for her daughter’s safety. Appearing as a panelist on today’s edition of Loose Women, the 50-year-old soap star recounted how she was set to fly to California last month for some quality time with her daughter, Phoebe Dynevor, but was forced to cancel the trip following the widespread wildfires sweeping through the region.

Phoebe, who is widely recognized for her role in Bridgerton, is currently in a relationship with Cameron Fuller. Sally revealed that Cameron’s family was severely affected by the wildfires. “All his family lost their homes,” she said, underscoring the immense personal impact of the disaster on those connected to her daughter, reported by Liverpool Echo.

The emotional toll of the wildfires was evident as Sally described the sleepless nights she endured worrying about her daughter’s wellbeing. “Phoebe and Cam’s house was close to the fire. I was up all night thinking if that fire got to Phoebe’s house. It was just an awful time and it was really scary. My heart breaks for all the people who have lost their homes,” she admitted.

Her heartfelt confession painted a vivid picture of anxiety and fear during one of the most challenging periods in recent memory. Joining Sally on the panel was Ayda Field, wife of Robbie Williams, who also recounted her own harrowing experience with the fire. “We were there when the fire broke out as my mum is going through cancer treatment.

It was two days after the Golden Globes and then everything turned so quickly and it was really heartbreaking to watch. When I was 14 I lost my house in the LA earthquakes so when I hear anything like a weather alert I’m triggered. I was stressed out and so was Rob,” Ayda shared, detailing how the wildfires reignited old traumas and compounded her present worries.

The discussion on Loose Women was further enriched by host Brenda Edwards and co-host Ruth Langsford, who steered the conversation toward themes of resilience and recovery. The panel then shifted focus to an uplifting segment featuring dancers Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu, who spoke about their new show, Reborn, set to debut at the M&S Bank Arena on March 29.

Amy expressed her elation over returning to the stage after overcoming personal health battles. “I finished the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour last night, and I was so proud of myself, being able to do 10 shows a week, because I wasn’t sure my body was ever going to be capable of it,” she said proudly.

She went on to share, “Every day after chemo, you start feeling strong and better but it wasn’t really until December I was like, ‘Oh yeah, this is what it feels like to have your energy and your strength back,’ And I’m just so proud of how far I’ve come, and only in the last few weeks.” Reflecting further, Amy added, “I look confident, but I’ve really not been… I’ve spent most nights crying at your [Carlos] house, saying, ‘My body feels different, my dancing’s not as good, I don’t look or feel the same’, But actually, I really feel like Amy again, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.”

The panel’s candid sharing of personal challenges and triumphs resonated deeply with viewers, reminding everyone of the power of resilience in the face of adversity.
