Coronation Street star Paddy Bever wasn't the only one to declare his love for his former co-star as another of his soap pals also paid a gushing tribute to Millie Gibson. The actress, known for playing Kelly Neelan in the ITV soap, celebrated her birthday on Monday (June 19).
And her former castmates weren't going to forget the special occasion and took to social media to share their message as Millie marked turning 19 while filming her next big project, Doctor Who. The teen has been busy filming for the upcoming run of the BBC sci-fi series away from home in Cardiff.
Last year it was revealed that Millie, having already waved goodbye to the cobbles, would be joining Doctor Who as the new companion Ruby Sunday alongside the 15th Doctor, played by Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa.

And despite being hard at work, Millie was able to spend some time celebrating and taking to Instagram before her official birthday, she shared a series of photos with her 208,000 Instagram followers alongside the caption: "Birthday weekending," which included images of a fancy, darkly-lit restaurant which she visited while sporting a stunning red mini dress.
After sharing the post, a number of her former Corrie co-stars were quick to flood her with messages. Sarah Barlow actress Tina O'Brien said: "Happy birthday. Gorgeous lady inside and out." Sally Carman, who plays Abi Webster in the ITV soap, replied: "Happy birthday, beauty!"
Jenny Connor star Sally Ann Matthews shared: "Happy birthday gorgeous girl," while Sair Khan, known for starring as Alya Nazir on the long-running soap, added: "Happy Birthday Beautiful lady!!!!"
But it was Paddy and co-star Tanisha Gorey who decided to go a little bit further with their birthday tributes to their pal. Paddy, who is known for playing Corrie's Max Turner, posted a black and white picture of the pair to his Instagram Story and said: "Happy birthday to darling Gibbo. Love you x."
Millie reshared the post and simply wrote: "Paddy Bever," alongside a string of red heart emojis. Tanisha meanwhile, who fans know for portraying Asha Alahan in Corrie, shared a collage of pics of the pair together both on nights out, at awards dos and one of them filming together.
"Happy birthday to my special baby girls, always. I love you endlessly. You truly have one of the biggest places in my heart," she typed in the first Instagram Story tribute. In the second she added: "All the memories made with you I'll cherish forever and ever. I'll always be your no.1 fan."
Back in April, a new teaser from the BBC showed Millie looking worlds away from her former role on the cobbles as it appeared to show here and Ncuti travelling back to the 1960s. They are seen wearing 1960s-style outfits, with Ncuti, 30, sporting a double-breasted blue-and-white pinstripe suit complete with a white shirt, tie and facial sideburns.
Millie could be seen showing off a Swinging Sixties look with white knee-high boots and a black-and-cream dress. It came after the BBC announced that RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon will play a “major role” in the new series as the Doctor’s "most powerful enemy yet".
