Coronation Street's Millie Gibson declares love for soap co-star

Former Coronation Street star Millie Gibson has publicly declared her love for a Corrie co-star as he celebrated his birthday on Saturday.

Millie, 18, played Kelly Neelan in the long-running ITV soap for three years, until she recently left for pastures new. The star has now been cast as Doctor Who's new sidekick, Ruby Sunday.

Millie will appear in the iconic BBC show in new episodes that will air across the festive period in 2023. Ncuti Gatwa has been cast as the new Time Lord and Millie has shared a snap together on Instagram.

During her time on Corrie, the teen has become friends with a number of her colleagues, with there being frequent social media updates showing them hanging out together outside of work. And on Saturday, she paid a special tribute to Max star Paddy Bever, as he turned 20.

Sharing a photo of the two of them together on her Instagram story, Millie said: "The Ryan to my Sharpay. Happy birthday my love!!" A second post added: "I love you infinite amounts, even when we look like this".

It comes after a similar sentiment shared by Paddy on Millie's birthday. Back in June, the Max Turner star commented on photos of Millie at her birthday party, saying: "Love you".
