Mikey North has made a prediction on what comes next for Millie Gibson after she exits Coronation Street.
Millie is renowned for her role as Kelly Neelan on the long-running soap. She is set to exit the Cobbles later this month as part of a Super September week, which which is usually saved for ITV’s ‘Super Soap Week’ in October.
The show's producer, Iain Macleod, has revealed her exit will be marked with an epic Hollywood style stunt. The set piece will also involve Gary Windass, who killed Kelly's dad, Rick, in the show.

Kelly's mum confessed she was to blame for Rick's murder when she was on her deathbed. However, the drama will start when Kelly finds dated photos on her mum’s old camera that prove she couldn’t have been the one that murdered Rick - as M.E.N reports.
Corrie viewers will see Kelly confront Gary with no success, and soon it is Sharon, her dad Rick's former sidekick at the loan shark's office, who breaks the news to Kelly that Gary was the one who killed her dad. The epic week will see Gary retrace the steps that led to him killing Rick three years ago as Kelly hires a hitman as revenge for her dad's death. But when they both end up in danger, who survives remains to be seen.
Spoilers have shown the dramatic episode will hit our screens soon, but it remains to be seen when after ITV amended its broadcast in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II's death.
Gary is played by Mikey North and he has heaped praise on Millie as he predicted her career in showbiz will go from strength to strength. He said: “She's an amazing girl. I’m so proud of what she’s become and I’m proud to say I was there at the start of her career. This girl will go on to have an amazing career, I’m sure of it, and she’ll be sorely missed here. I rate her so highly.”
He added: "She’s going to be a star whatever she does."
