Coronation Street 's Max Turner will find himself at the centre of a devastating blackmail story next week.
New ITV spoilers reveal that the teenager will end up sending a nude photo of himself to a catfish.
The drama begin as Max (Paddy Bever) is preparing for his date with Sonya, and he receives a text message from someone pretending to be her.
The person pretending to be Sonya asks him to send her a picture of the whole package so she can see what to expect before they meet.
Max is stunned but returns home unbuttoning his shirt and fulfils her demands.
However, later on as they enjoy dinner together, a perplexed Sonya reveals that she’s never received any messages from him nor sent any back.
Max and Sonya are both horrified as they realise someone has set them up and been catfishing Max.
As they leave the restaurant, Max’s phone pings with a text message demanding that he pay £1,000 or his naked picture will go viral.
Understandably, Max starts panicking but after informing David Platt of what's happened, he's advised to go to school and front it out because David refuses to pay the blackmailer.
As Max heads to school, Chris (Tareq Al-Jeddal) and Blake (Adam Little) start mocking him at the bus stop as they quote his messages to Sonya.
Are they the ones responsible for blackmailing Max? Or will it transpire that someone forced them to do it?
