Coronation Street's Jude Riordan left fans in hysterics as he aimed a hilarious jibe at Ant and Dec.
The St Helens star's performance as Sam Blakeman in Coronation Street was recognised as he picked up the Best Newcomer prize at the National Television Awards last year. Host Joel Dommett lifted the 11-year-old up so he could reach the microphone to deliver his acceptance speech in one of the most memorable moments at last year's ceremony.
Joel appeared on yesterday's edition of This Morning as the NTAs is set to return tonight. The comic joked he was tempted to do the same thing when Ant and Dec picked up their record breaking 20th TV presenter award. Phillip Schofield added: "No taller."

The tweet said: "Knew I could be the 3rd wheel in @antanddec being the same height and all that they can't be at the NTAs to collect their award (course they'll win) BUT I CAN. ."
Ant and Dec have been forced to pull out of tonight's ceremony after they tested positive for coronavirus. They said: "Sadly, it’s true… We even get ill together! After feeling unwell a few days ago we both tested and we’re positive for Covid. We’re resting up at home and are so sorry we can’t be at #NTAs202 Best of luck everyone and get well soon to anyone else in the same boat x."
Jude responded: "I can attend and collect your award Phil Schofield said we are the same height apparently. Feel better soon guys."
