Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd was quick to gush over his co-stars as he found himself missing out on the soap's summer bash. A whole host of the long-running ITV show's cast headed out in Manchester on Tuesday night (July 11).
Corrie legend Bill Roache, aka Ken Barlow, led the arrivals for the bash alongside Tina O'Brien as they headed to popular celebrity haunt The Ivy in Spinningfield for the mid-year celebrations.
Also joining in the fun was Corrie's newest recruits Claire Sweeney, who made her debut as Cassie Plummer earlier this month, and Stephanie Davis, who is set to appear on-screen in the soap for the first time next week as Courtney Vance.

After posing for photos on their way into the swanky venue, the soap stars let their hair down and have since been taking to social media to share their own glimpses into the fun-filled night.
Jane Danson was among those sharing some snaps on Instagram. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap, could be seen smiling for a selfie alongside Georgia Taylor (Toyah Habeeb), Sally Carman-Dutting (Abi Webster) and Julia Goulding (Shona Platt).
The foursome looked all glam as they grinned for the photo while holding onto their drinks as they celebrated the soap's achievements so far this year. "The only pic of the night I have," Jane typed to her followers. "Such fun at the @coronationstreet summer party with these lovely ladies!"
Jack, famed for playing Corrie's David Platt, was among the first to respond to the snap, simply writing; "Gorgeous." Alya Nazir actress Sair Khan posted the same responses while Tina O'Brien, who plays Jack's on-screen sister Sarah Barlow, was also quick to gush, writing: "What a picture of beauty and happiness right there, awwwww what a gorgeous photo."
Former co-star Brooke Vincent also shared: "love this pic xxx you all look amazing xxxxx." Angela Lonsdale, who is best known for playing police officer Emma Taylor on Corre, replied: "You all look gorgeous."
Meanwhile, Sally, who was featured in the snap, commented: "Love you," to Jane with a yellow love heart. And fans too were sharing their messages in the comments section.

Georgia also took to her own Instagram page to share some snaps, including one with Jane and her on-screen partner Martin Hancock, who reprised his role last year as Spider Nugent. "ITV summer party shenanigans. On a Tuesday. I guess we’re hardcore up north," she posted alongside the images.
Jack again was keen to respond, writing: "The A team." Sally added: "I just love you," alongside multiple yellow hearts.
